West Hall hosts spectacular summer event

West Hall care home in West Byfleet held a spectacular Mid-summer fayre to celebrate the onset of summer! 

Residents and colleagues hosted a lovely summer fayre and invited neighbours to attend on Saturday 17 June, complete with all sorts of fun activities! 

Visitors enjoyed several fun activities, including face painting and tombola, along with vibrant music. For refreshment, there was a delicious barbecue, salads and homemade cakes along with an ice cream van too!

The fayre also included several stalls, such as a sweet stall, book stall, crystal stall, cake stall and Body Shop stall and West Byfleet fire service even visited with one of their fire engines!

The highlight of the day was the tombola which everyone attending got a chance to take part in! There were some fantastic prizes on offer including the grand prize of a mixture of luxury gins and tonics, generously donated by West Byfleet Waitrose.

It was a great day and we loved welcoming relatives and guests to the home to celebrate the summer months and socialise. 

We love running events like our summer fayres at West Hall. They’re great for our residents’ mental and physical wellbeing as they get everyone outside and are fun and creative. They’re also a lot of fun for us to put on too!
