Townend Close care home launches golden ticket event for World Kindness Day

Townend Close care home in Cross Hills, has launched a special golden ticket ahead of World Kindness Day on November 13. 

Those who can find a limited number of the tickets will be invited to an afternoon tea at the home.

The golden tickets have been hidden across Cross Hills, and to potentially find one, members of the community must enter local shops and businesses and utter the words “golden ticket” to staff.

Lian Clarkson, Home Manager at Townend Close, said:

We’re always looking for ways to invite members of the community into our care home, but this time we wanted to spice things up. After all, who doesn't love a challenge!

We can’t wait to open our doors to those lucky few who are able to find one of the golden tickets. Make sure you keep hold of your ticket once you have it.

The afternoon tea will be held at Townend Close on World Kindness Day itself. More information will be provided on the golden tickets once found.
