Augusta Court care home celebrates 30th anniversary

A Chichester care home has celebrated its pearl anniversary with a party for residents and the care team.

Anchor’s Augusta Court care home on Winterbourne Road raised a glass to their 30th anniversary with champagne, music and a big cake. 

There was a festive spirit in the air amongst residents and the care team despite coronavirus restrictions preventing outside guests from attending the celebrations. 

Des Hodnett, 78, resident at Anchor’s Augusta Court said:

I’ve lived here for the past seven years and it’s an amazing place with extremely helpful carers and wonderful support. I can’t imagine a better home.

Marcin Szczepaniak, Manager at Anchor’s Augusta Court said:

It’s a privilege to be part of this incredible care home. As we all know, it’s not only about the building itself, it’s our lovely team and residents who create this wonderful place. We’re proud to continue the legacy of Anchor’s Augusta Court.
