Moore Place care home in Southampton recently enjoyed a special VE Day themed celebration courtesy of supplier Bidfood UK.
Residents and colleagues at the home had a fantastic afternoon party dedicated to celebrating the 80th anniversary of VE day together.
The fun filled afternoon saw everyone enjoying a variety of delicious treats made by the supplier including carrot cake, ration cake, Nelson cake, Victoria sandwich cake and scones. Special 1940s activity packs including wordsearches and 'guess the lyrics' proved very popular, as was the 1940s live music.

It was a fantastic day, lots of music, everybody was smiling.
