A quiz night for Comic Relief is the right answer

Norton House care home in Westminster is organising a day of fun activities to raise money to support Comic Relief. 

Plenty of activities have been organised such a fun-filled quiz night in aid of the Comic Relief, the national charity fundraising event taking place on Friday 18 March. The money raised will go to help people live free from poverty, violence, and discrimination. 

On Friday evening, the team and residents will take part in a specially organised Red Nose Quiz, with all proceeds from the evening going to Comic Relief. Visitors who would like to donate can do so by leaving money in the donation box to sponsor the activities taking place. The team will also be wearing Comic Relief T-shirt! 

Felicia Imafidon, Manager at the care home, said:

We’re really excited to be raising money for Comic Relief. Not only are these events raising money for a good cause, they’re also a lot of fun for our residents to take part in and us to organise! 

We’re proud to do our part for Comic Relief. Our residents are always keen to help good causes. Meaningful activities also help with our residents’ physical and mental well-being.

The Comic Relief event has sparked a lot of interest from residents at the home. 

Maria Lorentzon, 80, who has lived at Norton House for six years, said she was looking forward to the quiz. She said:

The day will be a lot of fun all in aid of a really important cause. There’s always a lot of great events here. I’ve always liked to raised money for Comic Relief and other charities. I’m glad I can keep doing so while living here
