Linwood care home residents enjoy local bakery treats during National Nutritional Month

Linwood care home residents have enjoyed a variety of delicious and healthy baked goods provided by a neighbourhood bakery in celebration of National Nutritional Month.

Residents of Linwood care home on Mercer Close expressed their gratitude after enjoying some delicious baked goods generously donated by the nearby Baker Tim bakery. With March being National Nutritional Month, the care team at Linwood partnered with Baker Tim who provided healthy delicious baked goods such as wholewheat bread loaves and cakes throughout the month. 

The baked treats went down so well with residents that Linwood have decided to set up a regular bakery order from Baker Tim after March!

Emily Napthine, 89, thanked Baker Tim for their kindness and tasty food, saying:

Thank you so much to Baker Tim for all the wonderful treats and thank you to the team at Anchor’s Linwood for sorting them out for us! I have to say the ciabatta bread were particularly good and I’m looking forward to enjoying them in the future!

Eleanor Lyons, Manager of Anchor’s Linwood, said:
