Bloomfield Court care home hosts fabulous fair

Bloomfield Court care home in Tipton has helped bring the local community together through its summer fair, as residents and their families enjoyed a fun-filled day.  

The day involved a series of activities, from a tombola to games of hook a duck. There was also live entertainment from Mel’s Mad Hatter Magic Show.

Georgina Boden, Manager at Bloomfield Court care home, said:

We are really pleased with the turnout today - thank you to all who came and donated. We wouldn’t be able to do anything like this without the help of our wonderful colleagues, supportive families and thoughtful local community. It’s been a fantastic day!

Bloomfield Court resident Molly Jackson added:

It’s been a great day, and the Punch and Judy show was wonderful.

Other activities held on the day included face painting and bean bag toss. There was also a raffle which had prizes and a cash donation from Tipton Building Society.

The money raised during the fair will go towards the residents’ fund. Residents will be meeting at the end of August to decide what they would like to do with the money raised.
