Customers welcomed to new later living development in Stockport

To celebrate the completion of the communal facilities at our newest development; The Peaks in Woodford, Stockport, prospective buyers were invited to come and see see first-hand the amenities on offer.

The development, launched by Life in Place from Anchor, officially opened the doors to the brand-new communal areas at The Peaks, this week.

Social historian Dr Michala Hulme, local author and guest consultant on BBC’s ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ marked the opening of the communal spaces, accompanied by representatives from Anchor, future residents and new customers.

Thoughtfully designed with the over 55s in mind, the communal facilities at The Peaks include a café, alongside a hair and beauty salon, residents’ lounge, wellness space, and shared gardens. The wider development comprises a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom bungalows for sale with Anchor Shared Ownership.

The new show suite was also open to view, offering prospective buyers an opportunity to speak to the Anchor sales team and learn about the buying process, and find out how the homes have been designed to support independent living.
