What benefits are available when you reach state pension age?
Anchor’s Community Partnership team have been working with Independent Age to bring you a free information session on benefits when you reach state pension age. You can join this online or by phone.
Thursday 4 September from 11 am - 12 pm.
When you reach State Pension age, it may change the benefits that you’re eligible for. In this session, Thom from Independent Age will explain how reaching State Pension age impacts different benefits, what other support you may be entitled to and what happens if you choose to keep working.
We’ll cover:
- the State Pension and Pension Credit
- working-age benefits like Universal Credit
- disability benefits
- help with housing costs
- benefits you can get if you care for someone
