Update on selecting a new buildings insurance provider

Our current insurance contract ends in June 2026, so we’re in the process of finding a new provider.

After the first stage of the tender process, five providers are now in the running. In March, each provider will submit a proposal and present to Anchor colleagues. We also plan to involve resident representatives in part of the scoring process, so their views help shape the decision.

Once the presentations are complete, we’ll move to the Best and Final Offer (BAFO) stage. This is when negotiations take place, and bidders can put forward their final offers based on any agreed changes to requirements.

When a provider has been chosen, residents will have the chance to share their feedback as part of the second stage of the Section 20 consultation process before the final contract is signed. The first stage of Section 20 took place in September 2025.
