Residents at Bradley House take pride in blooming community gardens
The gardens at Bradley House are blooming ahead of summer, with residents helping maintain colourful outdoor areas for everyone to enjoy.
Several residents regularly help care for the gardens, including Sid Kaye, Carol Rosenthal, Andy Cornel, Lesley Doust and Stan Simons. Their work has helped create a space where they can relax, socialise and enjoy the warmer weather.
The gardens are also used for summer BBQs and gatherings organised by fellow residents Mario and Jan Alverez, making them an important part of community life at Bradley House.
Sid Kaye said:
I’m really proud of the roses we’ve grown at Bradley House. The gardens are a lovely space for everyone to spend time together, and it’s wonderful to see everyone’s hard work make such a difference.
The community has also created a small allotment, with residents growing tomatoes, peas, peppers, carrots and onions for everyone to enjoy.
The outdoor spaces continue to provide a relaxing environment for residents at Bradley House throughout the year.
Across our housing locations, shared spaces such as gardens play an important role in bringing communities together and supporting resident wellbeing.
