Park Hall care home colleague wins top regional award at Great British Care Awards
We're proud to announce that Jacqui Williams triumphed at the West Midlands regional final of the Great British Care Awards 2025, which recognises excellence across the care sector.
Jacqui, representing Park Hall care home in Stoke-on-Trent, overcame the competition to claim The Dignity in Care Award at the regional final held at The International Convention Centre, Birmingham on Saturday (November 1).
The Great British Care Awards honour individuals who have gone the extra mile to help improve the lives of residents within their care.
Judges said that Jacqui, Care Assistant at Anchor, had been recognised for her outstanding contribution to dignity in care. They added that she consistently promotes person-centred support, empowers those she assists, and ensures individuals have meaningful choice in their lives. Her dedication fosters independence, respect, and wellbeing, reflecting a compassionate approach that truly enhances the lives of the people she supports every day.
Following her win, Jacqui will advance on to the national final at the ICC in Birmingham, which will take place next spring.
Rachael Smith, Home Manager of Park Hall care home, said:
This is a wonderful achievement by Jacqui who fully deserves this recognition of her passion and ability.
Jacqui is a delight to work with and all our residents love her too! She’s an incredible part of our team and makes working at Park Hall a joy.
Jacqui was delighted to win at the regional final, saying:
