Announcing our colleagues in the West Midlands regional final for the Great British Care Awards

We are proud to announce that we have eight colleagues in the West Midlands regional final of the Great British Care Awards, which recognises excellence across the care sector.

Throughout November, regional finals will be held across the UK, with the winners advancing on to the national final at the ICC in Birmingham on March 14.

On November 2, the regional final for the West Midlands will be held in Birmingham. We have colleagues up for awards in the following categories:

•    Dementia Carer - Sunny Odumu (Care Assistant, Bloomfield Court, Tipton)
•    Care Home Registered Manager - Keri Martin (Home Manager, Madeleine House, Birmingham)
•    Ancillary Worker - Linda Hall (Administrator, Harden Hall, Walsall)
•    Care Home Activity Organiser - Maxine Mckinlay (Housekeeper, Warren Farm Lodge, Birmingham)
•    Care Home Worker - Heman Klyanga (Care Assistant, Godiva Lodge, Coventry)
•    Frontline Leader - Oluwaseyi Olatunbosun (Team Leader, Godiva Lodge, Coventry)
•    Home Care Worker - Delanthe Alagaraj (Home Care Assistant, Leofric Lodge, Coventry)
•    Dignity in Care - Elisha Chagiye (Home Care Assistant, Leofric Lodge, Coventry)

Reflecting on the success of colleagues in the region, Anchor’s Director of Care Services Central Alison Bentley said:

There are 21 categories in total at this year’s Great British Care Awards, with Anchor represented in all of them up and down the country.
