Anchor wins top 20 large care home group 4 years in a row

We won the Top 20 Care Home Groups in the UK award in the Top 20 Large Care Home Groups 2022 category. The awards were based on reviews from relatives and residents.  

Every year, carehome.co.uk holds two awards based on overall reviews and the score of an individual care home. The cut-off date was Thursday 30th June and reviews up until that point were taken into consideration for scoring. There were three categories within the Top 20 Care Home Groups award, and these were:

• Top 20 Large Care Home Groups 2022 (20+ Group Members)
• Top 20 Mid-Size Care Home Groups 2022 (10-19 Group Members)
• Top 20 Small Care Home Groups 2022 (2-9 Group Members)

Two of our care homes were rated top in their respected region and won awards. Ashcroft won in the Yorkshire and the Humber region and Millfield won in the North West region.

Regarding Ashcroft being rated in the top 20 in its region, Emma Ciccone, Manager of  Ashcroft care home, said:

For all of us at Ashcroft, our main aim is building genuine connections and relationships with our residents and their loved ones. I think that’s a large part of why we’ve gotten lots of good reviews and therefore how we’ve got ourselves into Carehome.co.uk’s Top 20 for 2022 list!   

A resident living at Ashcroft said of their experience: 

I have lived at Ashcroft for a number of months and have enjoyed my stay. This last couple of weeks I have moved to the independent living services Ashcroft and I am really happy. I am supported to remain independent. Staff help me where needed but it's really nice to make my own hot drinks, do my washing and help with the housework. I go out with family often and the staff go out of their way to make me happy. I am so happy to be living here.
