Anchor colleagues in South West regional final for the Great British Care Awards
We are proud to announce that we have seven colleagues and one care team in the South West regional final of the Great British Care Awards which recognises excellence across the care sector.
Anchor colleagues are targeting success in this year’s awards, which recognises excellence across the care sector.
Throughout November, regional finals will be held across the UK, with the winners advancing on to the national final at the ICC in Birmingham on March 14.
On November 14, the regional final for the South West will be held in Bristol. We have colleagues up for awards in the following categories:
• Ancillary Worker - Alice Morris (Administrator, Manor Court, Plymouth)
• Putting People First - Andrew Edmonson (Handyperson, Marsh Farm Manor, Royal Wootton Bassett)
• Care Team - Marsh Farm Manor (Royal Wootton Bassett)
• Care Newcomer - Nadyne Roberts (Carer, Selkirk House, Plymouth)
• Care Home Cook/Chef - David Mcateer (Chef, Marsh Farm Manor, Royal Wootton Bassett)
• Frontline Leader - Kate Walker (Deputy Manager, Selkirk House, Plymouth)
• Care Home Worker - Clarissa Legg (Team Leader, Marsh Farm Manor, Royal Wootton Bassett)
• Care Home Registered Manager - Marietta Cranfield (Home Manager, Marsh Farm Manor, Royal Wootton Bassett)
Reflecting on the success of colleagues in the region, Anchor’s Director of Care Services Central Alison Bentley said: “I’m so proud of care colleagues across Anchor, not just the Great British Care Awards finalists who are committed to delivering the highest standards of care and serving their local communities. We’re looking forward to the final in Bristol, and fingers crossed we can come home with some awards!”
There are 21 categories in total at this year’s Great British Care Awards, with Anchor represented in all of them up and down the country.
