Anchor Chief Executive wins Outstanding Contribution Award
Jane Ashcroft CBE, Chief Executive of Anchor, has won the Outstanding Contribution Award at the prestigious LaingBuisson Awards.
The awards recognise and celebrate industry excellence in the UK health and social care services, and the Outstanding Achievement Award is given to someone who has made a significant contribution to the sector. Jane received this prestigious award for ‘her overwhelmingly positive influence’ in the UK health and social care services sector.
As well as being Chief Executive of Anchor, Jane is Vice Chair of Associated Retirement Community Operators, a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She was awarded a CBE in the 2013 New Year Honours for services to older people.
Jane said:
I’m thrilled to have won the Outstanding Contribution award at this year’s LaingBuission Awards. It’s wonderful for Anchor to be recognised nationally for delivering person-centred care and providing people with homes where they can love living in later life.
Anchor, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for people living in later life, won Best Large Residential Care Provider at the 2019 and 2020 events. Jane’s award continues the organisation’s run of success at one of the social care sector’s most respected awards ceremonies.
