We’ve listened: our new finance information session
Involved residents told us they wanted clearer, simpler information about finance topics, and we’ve acted on it.
Our first session focused on service charges and proved incredibly popular, with almost 150 people involved. We held two one hour online sessions - one for homeowners and one for renters.
Our finance colleague explained how service charges work and answered as many questions as possible on the day. Any questions we couldn’t cover have been included in a question-and-answer document, which was circulated afterwards.
Of those who attended, almost 70% said they found it interesting and informative - this tells us there is real value in running more of these events.
We’re now planning future sessions, covering topics suggested by residents - giving more opportunities to learn, ask questions and have a say.
