Wellbeing 360 finalist for the ukactive Awards 2022
Our tailored Wellbeing 360 service has been selected as a finalist for the ukactive Awards 2022 in the Healthy Communities category.
Our Wellbeing 360 service is an inclusive program that encourages our residents to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Following an initial health assessment, residents receive a personalised and realistic action plan designed to suit their individual needs and abilities.
The plan gives an opportunity for our residents to improve their physical wellbeing, but also socialise with others and improve mental wellbeing. Offerings include live and recorded yoga and stretching sessions, health checks and the hero Wellbeing Navigator platform to connect with like-minded residents.
The ukactive Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across health, wellbeing, and fitness in the UK. The Healthy Communities category is open to organisations or individuals who deliver physical activity programmes or products that encourage the wider community to get more physically active. The first round of the competition was a written submission, and our entry has now progressed to the next stage which includes a panel presentation at the Judges’ House on 23 May.
On being a finalist, Brett Jenkins who is our Wellbeing Development Manager said
I'm very proud that our Wellbeing 360 service has made it as a finalist for this year’s ukactive Awards and I want to thank the Wellbeing 360 team for their continued efforts. We’re looking forward to the awards ceremony at the end of June!
The program, which was piloted at three locations, will officially launch at The Chapters, a new collection of 80 one- and two-bedroom apartments located in Shinfield.
In addition to reaching the final, Brett has been chosen as a judge for this year’s category of ‘Developing & Supporting Communities following on from Covid-19’.
Good luck to Brett who will be presenting in front of the judges. So many residents have already benefitted from the Wellbeing 360 service, so we look forward to hearing from the judges.
