Social Care Top 30 for 2024 announced
Anchor’s Managing Director of Care Services Rob Martin has been shortlisted in The Social Care Top 30.
The annual award provides the opportunity to both showcase and recognise innovative leadership and excellence in the sector.
Rob has been in the role of Managing Director of Care Services since 2020, and under his leadership, Anchor’s portfolio has increased from 114 to over 120 care homes.
This year, following intensive training, he has returned to where his career began, in a care home, working shift patterns alongside Anchor care colleagues.
He has done this whilst also successfully introducing digital care planning across the care home portfolio.
Rob regularly engages with government bodies to help shape the future of social care.
He also undertakes a non-paid role as a Board Member for The National Care Forum and is passionate about the professional recognition of the social care workforce.
In response to the announcement, Rob said:
I’m delighted to be a finalist for the Social Care Top 30, it’s an honour and privilege and remains a great testament to the hard work and dedication of my colleagues at Anchor, this really is a nomination for them!
We continue to do incredible things at Anchor, ensuring people have a home where they love living in later life and continuing to attract a diverse workforce who share the aspiration to make a real difference in people’s lives.
The winner of the Social Care Top 30 will be decided by a public vote, which opened on Monday 2 September. You can show your support for Rob by casting your votes online here.
