Meadow Court Christmas Fair spreads festive cheer
Members of the local community came together with family and friends for a fun filled day at a Christmas Fair held at Meadow Court retirement development on Sunday 5 December.
Guests enjoyed an array of festive activities including a Christmas crafting workshop, a giant snow globe experience and spending some time with Santa and his reindeers.
There were also a large selection of local craft and gift stalls offering guests the chance to pick up some unique gifts for friends and family ahead of Christmas, and plenty of mulled wine and mince pies to get everyone into the festive spirit.
Speaking of the event Kim Hunter, General Manager at Meadow Court in Sarisbury Green, Southampton, said:
We were delighted to welcome visitors of all ages to celebrate the Christmas season with us. Last year was a quiet one for many, so we wanted to create a fun and festive event for residents and the local community to come together in a safe environment.
Community spirit is important to all of us at Anchor and many of our residents have formed strong friendships over the years. There was definitely a festive spirit in the air, and it was wonderful to see the whole community come together to celebrate.
Grace Dursley, a resident at Meadow Court, added:
The Christmas Fair was a great way to begin the Christmas season. It was such a joyful event with so many things to see and do and with treats galore. I hope prospective residents were able to see just how much of a happy place Meadow Court is to live. I’m certainly glad that I moved here and would recommend it to anyone.
