Anchor resident makes an appearance on Bargain Hunt

Caroline Mills of Carters Meadow in Andover appeared on the show earlier this year.

As an avid fan of Bargain Hunt, Caroline Mills thought that she could do well in the competition and decided to apply as a contestant.

Caroline wrote to the show two years ago to apply and heard back from the producers in January 2023. In August she finally made an appearance on the programme along with her partner Tom Smith as the blue team. 

Speaking of her experience, Caroline said:

The crew and producer gave us such a great day at Detling Kent in April. They were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. It was a good experience and the two girls we were up against were such fun, as was our expert Nick. We had another great day at the auction a month later in May at Bourne End High Wycombe. I would recommend it to anyone, why not apply.

In the end, Caroline and Tom managed to win the show with some great buys including a silver duck decoration and a glass decanter which made them £30 and £20 profit respectively.
