What to do if you have a small area of mould on your wall

Damp and mould can impact your health and your home if left to spread, it is important to act as soon as you find any in your home. 

For small areas of mould, you can clean it with a white vinegar spray, this will help stop regrowth.

To keep your home healthy, remember to ACT: 

• Air it out: Reduce moisture by opening windows or use extractor fans when cooking, showering or drying clothes indoors
• Consistent temperature: Aim to keep your home between 18°C and 21°C. Moving furniture slightly away from walls helps warmth spread evenly around the room
• Tackle condensation: If you find condensation, such as on windows or in bathrooms, wipe it down with a dry cloth. This helps prevent mould from forming.
