Pemberley Place starts festive season with Christmas market

Colleagues and residents at Pemberley Place in Bath hosted a Christmas market at the beginning of December to kick off the festivities and bring the local community together. 

The event followed Pemberley Place’s exclusive show suite launch on the 30 November which provided locals with the opportunity to view the stylish apartments and learn more about the support available.

The Christmas market featured a wide range of community organisations including local craft group Mind Bath and The Positive Planner, a company creating a range of guided journals designed to help people’s mental health.

There was also a festive bakes competition table, representatives of St Stephens Church singing carols, a choir from Abbott Alphege Academy, Sophie Iliadis of Soul and Beauty and the Genesis Trust, who offer immediate practical assistance to help rebuild the lives of the homeless and the vulnerable.

People could also enjoy plenty of festive flavours including a mulled wine stall, festive hot chocolates, Christmas cake and mince pies and a raffle with prizes donated by local pub The Hare and Hounds and the Spar shop, as well as a prize donated by each of the 12 stallholders.

The market was a fantastic event both for our residents and the wider local community and we had an excellent range of attractions to get the festive season under way in style.

The event was organised to encourage community spirit, increase residents' wellbeing and to spread festive cheer. It was lovely to see everyone having such a wonderful time.
