Support for residents struggling to manage their money
We’ve all experienced debt at some point in our lives. Whether it’s been an unexpected bill, a partner’s ill health or helping out family members. It’s nothing to be embarrassed about.
Particularly during Covid, people across the country are finding it difficult to stay on top of their money and with a little bit of assistance you can be back in control in no time.
At Anchor Hanover we are keen to help people with their finances, whether it’s looking at their daily bills or assisting with their rent/service charge account. That’s why we have joined the National Housing Federation in making a promise to:
- Keep people secure in their homes
- Help people to get the support they need to resolve their financial issues
- Act compassionately and quickly where people are struggling.
If you are concerned about your rent or service charge account or would like a confidential discussion about your bills please get in touch with either your local manager or the Customer Centre on 0800 731 2020 (select option two, option one for the Payments Advice team).
Our BeWise team can offer a listening ear and help to assess your household income, ensure you are claiming the right benefits, help make savings on household bills and help to put a plan in place to get you back on track. Contact the team for free on 0800 023 4477.
