Orchard Gardens residents train with The Saints Foundation
Staff at Anchor’s Orchard Gardens care home are holding an activity class and a talk on keeping healthy, presented by experts from The Saints Foundation.
The Saints Foundation Health and Wellbeing programme works with people providing support, education and activities to increase physical strength and overall health, as well providing support for those with dementia, helping create happier and healthier people in our local community.
Orchard Gardens Manager Tracy Hibberd said: “Gentle exercise means that older people can maintain mobility and boost their physical and mental well-being. This means they can continue to get the most out of life.
“The activity class is a great way to launch our summer programme of events, which includes visits from Bishopstoke Pre-School, Oomph exercise classes and a garden party happening in the next six weeks.”
