Augusta Court care home

My experience with the home and the staff was always very good, caring and welcoming. Thank you to everyone for their kindness and care they always show.

When my dad transferred to Augusta Court he was socially disengaged with no will to live. Three months later, he was fully immersed in daily activities (when he was awake) and it was very evident he was the happiest I'd seen him in over 22 months. The caring staff put the heart in caring and gave me my father back for another 11 months.

Living so far away from Mum, it's a relief knowing that she is happy and so well cared for at Augusta Court. Although I haven't been able to attend the care home yet, I only see and hear good things about it. I also so appreciate how management and the staff maintain a regular social media presence. I wouldn't see my mum looking so happy, social, and well if it weren't for the regular photos and activities posted. I have nothing but praise, appreciation, and awe for the carers helping to make Augusta Court such a safe and friendly environment for our aged community. Thank you, Team.

My family member has been a resident at Augusta Court for the past 4 years. In that time she has been cared for in the most professional, sympathetic, and encouraging manner. She has enjoyed participating in all the varied activities and enjoyed the home-cooked meals, especially the different themed events. She has most definitely thrived while i… Read moren their care. While she is sadly becoming more dependent on the care team, I could not be happier with the level of care she has received. I have the utmost confidence in the management of the home and more importantly, the individual care team who are, in my opinion, exceptional. They keep me regularly updated with care reviews and are always available to answer any questions I may have.

We are very pleased that our friend is well-fed and cared for. We are impressed with the number of activities available to occupy and involve our friend. We are always welcomed by name and frequently invited to discuss any concerns - which we do not have! The staff are very friendly and competent.

My dad, who has Alzheimer's, has been at Augusta Court for a year now and after a brief settling-in period he was soon at ease. My partner became a resident of Augusta Court Care Home just over 3 years ago and I have always been extremely pleased with the care he has received especially during the covid period. I have found the staff to be professional friendly and welcome, and they treated my partner with the utmost respect and kindness which he deserved. My lovely partner… Read more passed away recently and the end-of-life care he received was exemplary. I cannot fault it. But not only did they take care of him they took care of me and my family. I was able to stay with him in his room and a bed was provided and I received all the food I needed. They did everything for me. The friendliness of the staff towards me and my family made our last days a much better experience than it could have been. I will always be grateful.
