  • Annual Review Meetings and Local Services Agreements

Resident guidance: All Housing residents - Last updated: 20 March 2026

Annual Review Meetings and Local Services Agreements

Living with Anchor your voice matters. Our annual review meetings, service agreements, and local service standard reviews are key ways you can get involved and help us make sure your home and community services meet your expectations and needs.

This page explains how these processes work and how they put you at the heart of everything we do.

What are annual review meetings?

Annual review meetings are dedicated sessions where we come together to talk about how things are going in your building or community.

These meetings give you a chance to:

  • Hear about the year’s service performance - what’s gone well, what could be improved, and how we’re responding to your feedback
  • Ask questions about issues affecting your home or communal facilities
  • Raise any concerns or priorities for the year ahead.

Our local team will share updates on repairs, improvements, safety, gardening, cleaning, and any changes that may affect you. We’ll also discuss what’s planned for the coming year, so you know what to expect and can have your say.

It’s an open, friendly space where you can share your ideas and help set the direction for your community.

What are Local Service Agreements?

Local Service Agreements set out what residents can expect from Anchor - for example, how often communal areas are cleaned, how quickly repairs will be completed, or what grounds maintenance should include.

They are developed by listening to your feedback and taking account of the needs of your community. They ensure that the services you receive are not only consistent, but also relevant to your experience.
These agreements and standards:

  • Be clear and transparent so you always know what to expect.
  • Provide a straightforward way to check if we’re delivering on our commitments.
  • Set out how often our services are reviewed and how we’ll make changes together.

How you can get involved in these reviews

We strongly encourage all residents to take part in their scheme’s annual review meeting or local service discussion. You can:

  • Come along to meetings and share your experience
  • Send suggestions or feedback if you can’t attend in person
  • Help review local standards so they reflect your needs
  • Join in on setting new priorities and agreeing action plans.

If you have an advocate or someone who supports you, they are welcome, too - just let your manager know in advance.

If you need extra support to join meetings or give feedback, please let us know; we want everyone to have a chance to get involved. You can speak to your location manager or contact the Customer Experience Hub on 0800 731 2020.

Why these reviews matter

We want your home to feel safe, comfortable, and for you to feel heard.

  • Listening to what matters to you: Your feedback helps us celebrate success, see what’s working and where we can do better.
  • Making changes together: If something isn’t working, these meetings are your chance to tell us. We’ll work with you to put it right quickly.
  • Your voice shapes our priorities: You help decide where we invest and improve, so resources go where they make the biggest difference in the community .
  • Being open and accountable: By talking honestly about our performance and your expectations, we make sure Anchor stays accountable to you.

The difference your involvement makes

When you have your say:

  • Service improvements are driven by your real-life experiences
  • Local issues get noticed and resolved more quickly
  • You help build a welcoming, supportive place where everyone feels valued.
