Anchor Hanover care home residents reunited with loved ones
Many of our care homes have been delighted this week to welcome people and facilitate visits with loved ones following new guidelines enabling indoor visits from a single named family member or friend.
Residents of care homes (including Linwood, Wellington Lodge, Beechfield, St Joseph’s, Augusta Court and Primrose Court) have all been able to see loved ones in person thanks to the hard work of our care teams, who have ensured that visits can be carried out safely.
Hazel Cundall, resident at Wellington Lodge, was overjoyed at seeing her daughter Claire, saying:
It’s just lovely to hold Claire’s hand again and it’s great to see her after all that’s happened. The team at Wellington Lodge have been amazing looking after all of us here but it means so much to see my family again.
At Primrose Court, Home Manager Joanne Lawrence said:
It’s so wonderful to see our residents and relatives reunited like this! It’s so heart-warming and rewarding that residents are starting to see their loved ones in person and hold hands.
