Resident Involvement Update - September 2026
We encourage residents to help shape and improve our services through the resident involvement groups. Below are some of the recent actions and improvements driven by these groups.
Helping to make important information clearer
Members of our resident involvement groups recently reviewed the budget information that will be sent to residents later this year. This builds on similar work carried out last year, where residents also helped improve the way we communicate financial information.
During the review, residents identified ways to make the documents easier to read and understand. As a result, changes have been made to the cover letter, feedback form and supporting information, including improving the wording of questions, using clearer language, adding clearer instructions and making documents easier to read. Residents also suggested changes to explain more clearly how budgets are set and how costs are managed.
Residents have also recently reviewed a new Insurance Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ document) following the change to our buildings insurance provider. Their feedback helped identify areas where information could be clearer and easier to understand.
As a result, several improvements were made, including clearer wording, better formatting, more accessible explanations and additional information on insurance arrangements. This is another great example of residents helping to shape the information Anchor provides, ensuring it is as helpful and easy to understand as possible for everyone.
We're grateful to everyone who took part and shared their views. If you receive information from Anchor and feel it could be clearer or easier to understand, we'd love to hear from you. Please email your feedback to [email protected].
Help improve services through the Residents' Complaints Group
We're currently looking for more residents to join our Residents' Complaints Group.
This group helps us learn from complaints and identify ways to improve services for all residents.
Members look at themes and trends, discuss what's working well and what could be done better and help make sure resident feedback leads to positive change.
If you're interested in helping improve the complaints service, sharing your views and making a positive difference to residents' experiences, we'd love to hear from you. Please email [email protected]
