Diversity & Inclusion events in July
It was wonderful to see so many people get involved with LGBTQ+ Pride events across Anchor, and in July our focus shifts to Disability Pride Month.
Since 2015, July has been marked as an opportunity to raise awareness of disabilities and start positive conversations. To start off the month, disability blogger Chloe Tear will be attending a coffee morning on Tuesday 15 July at 11am. Chloe lives with cerebral palsy and uses a guide dog and is an award-winning speaker and activist.
Join the Teams meeting using the following details: Meeting ID: 315 577 115 885, Passcode: Pu6YT3Bh.
It’s also South Asian Heritage Month from 18 July, and 2025’s theme is “Roots to Routes: exploring the rich journey of growth, and the evolving connections we make through generations.” If you enjoy sharing your South Asian heritage and culture with your family, or if it’s been passed down to you and you’d like to share some of that knowledge and experience as a blog on Anchor’s website, please email [email protected].
