Happy LGBTQ+ Pride Month! We have a couple of events lined up to celebrate and support our LGBTQ+ colleagues, residents, friends, and family this year.
On Saturday 7 June, Anchor will be joining the Joseph Rowntree Housing Foundation to attend York Pride. Everyone is welcome in the parade, so meet us outside the Minster at 11.30am.
On Tuesday 17 June from 2 - 3.30pm, join us virtually with another panel event on Reclaiming Narratives, by emailing [email protected]. We’ll be hearing from our speakers about what being part of the LGBTQ+ community means for them, and how they’ve found identity and community there.
Additionally, we’d love to hear from you! If you’d like to share your story and experiences as a blog post on Anchor’s website, please contact us. We’d love to hear from everyone, but particularly those who identify with under-represented groups.
