Appreciation for the work of our involved residents celebrated at special event

In April we held our very first Thank You event celebrating and giving thanks for the hard work and dedication of all Anchor’s involved residents.

The online event was designed to enable as many residents as possible to attend and hear from a range of Anchor colleagues about how their time and views had made a difference to the organisation.

Sarah Tuner, Resident Involvement & Wellbeing Manager said: 

We wanted a way to recognise, celebrate and thank all the residents who give up their time voluntarily to give Anchor their feedback, views and ideas. These contributions really help us to understand what is important to residents in the delivery of our services and helps us see where things could be done differently, and we wanted to show our appreciation.

The hour long session was attended by residents from across the country and highlighted a range of different projects involved residents have been involved in shaping.

How you can make a difference

Whether you are most interested in your local community or want to work with us on business-wide policies and decisions, we are keen residents get involved in any way you can. Getting involved doesn't have to take up much of your time and being part of a resident group, panel or network can be very rewarding.
