As a Senior Care Assistant within one of our care homes, you will provide person centred care and support to assist residents to maintain their independence. This includes personal care, mealtimes, and activities whilst also providing a listening ear to those who need it most. Our Senior Care Assistants lead and manage a compact team to uphold and sustain high care standards, as well as supervise the seamless operation of a designated floor throughout each shift.

What does a Senior Care Assistant role at Anchor involve?

Our Senior Care Assistants enable residents to lead as active and independent lives as possible by providing holistic and personal care. Senior Care Assistants promote choice to residents in their daily living by providing high quality care which meets Care Quality Commissions (CQC) fundamental standards and supports happy living for the years ahead.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will have a high level of responsibility which will include managing and administering medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans, mentoring less experienced staff, completing return to work discussions and staff supervisions.
