A tremendous place. Excellent facilities and superb care. Everyone knows dad's name and he's always greeted with enthusiasm and fondness. I would recommend it very highly. Location is great too. Just taken dad out for a walk in the sun.

My 100 yr old mother came to the home by ambulance being unable to walk having sustained a broken pelvis having spent 4 weeks in hospital . The amazing care she has received at the Manor has changed an immobile lady into one who is now able to walk. She has also been encouraged to socialize with the other residents and has benefitted from the care… and loving support from the staff without whom I doubt she would have been able to recently celebrate her 101 birthday Thank you Manor - Andrea

My Father in Law is a resident of the home and recently it was his birthday. We had a family get together in the private dining room. Everything was set up perfectly and we were able to have a wonderful meal with him. Special thanks to Ahmad who couldn't do enough for us. The home is a beautiful environment and we know they take great care of him … and is well looked after. Thanks to all for all of your efforts. We really appreciate what you do for him.

My father moved into the Manor at the beginning of January after much trepidation and a lot of soul searching. It has worked out better than we could ever have imagined. We have been delighted with the care and attention my dad has had and equally the welcome we have received as a family. From the minute we walk in the door we are greeted with war… m welcoming faces and in the bar there will usually be some event that has been organised , keeping the place lively and the residents engaged with new experiences. Every member of staff has been kind and caring and we can ask for no more as we are helped to navigate a difficult time in our father's live. Thank you, to you all.

My parents are in this amazing care home as a couple. They are loved and very well looked after. I also feel very well looked after whenever I visit. My mum had a recent admission to hospital and the love and support they both received was second to none. Thankyou sincerely

My husband did not want to go into respite care but agreed to try The Manor. We were concerned that it may be "sparkle without substance" but that's not the case. We saw many happy faces, residents and staff, on our visits and I realised it was my best chance of finding a carehome for my husband. Within hours of his arrival, I felt sure … he would be well looked after and may even enjoy the experience. 2 days later he had a "meltdown" becoming angry and shouting at staff. He was upset because he thought I wasn't going to take his dog to visit him. When the Floor Supervisor rang me at his insistence, I went straight there (15 minutes) and found him in his room holding the hand of the Supervisor and calmly talking about future stays which he looks forward to! It is true professionalism and honest caring on the part of everyone involved that he came out of that feeling positive. The staff are bright, supportive and kind and I thank them and look forward to more stays on 2nd floor soon.

I cannot thank Claire and all the team at the Manor House enough for the loving care and support given to our mum. It was a difficult decision to move mum into a care home, but she could no longer stay at home after a bad fall. Mum is soo well looked after by all at the Manor House, and she has settled in really well. The home is beautiful and all … the facilities are exceptional. The team put soo much care and effort into including all residents in their activities and events. We have enjoyed many events at the Manor House, including their Summer fair, the Paws and Applause Dog Show, the Gatsby event and this weekend, their Xmas party. They do soo much to keep mum and all the residents entertained. Mum has dementia and it's not easy to communicate with her, but the care given to mum is outstanding. It's alway a pleasure to visit, keep doing what you're doing guys. Thank you soo much.

Welcoming you

To start your enquiry simply click 'Enquire now' at the top of the page and either call us or complete an online enquiry form.

We know only too well how daunting and emotional the decisions are for everyone when considering care, which is why our team are here to help every step of the way.

We’ll provide you with full details of the home, along with any other information you’d like, such as sample menus and activity schedules, as well as explain how you can arrange a viewing.

Whether you’re looking to stay with us permanently, or for a short break, we’d be delighted to take you on a show round of the home in person. Simply book a visit with the home manager once you’ve made your enquiry.

If you or your loved one doesn’t live nearby or are unable to visit in person we can provide a virtual show round. Either way, we’re keen to show you what daily life is like here and for you to meet our friendly team.

We hope you decide, following your visit, that you or your loved one would like to move into the home, in which case we’ll organise a pre-assessment to make sure we can meet all your care needs.

Guide to visiting a care home for the first time

Visiting a care home is one of the most important steps in deciding whether it’s the right place for you or your loved one. In our homes we will ensure your visit will be welcoming, informative and reassuring, so you can feel confident about your choice. To help you get the most from your time visiting our homes, we've written an easy to follow online guide to visiting a care home.

We hope you decide, following your visit, that you or your loved one would like to move into the home, in which case we’ll organise a pre-assessment to make sure we can meet all your care needs.

You may already have had a care needs assessment from the local authority and have a care plan in place which can be a useful starting point for our conversations, so we will ask about these. Our pre-assessment is a chance for us to find out more about you, the challenges you face and the way you like to live your life. It's a conversation about how our team could work with you to support your needs, independence, and wellbeing.

Once you are confident in your choice of new home, our friendly onsite teams will discuss every aspect of moving-in with you in detail to make sure you know exactly what to expect.

This way you can feel confident, safe and welcomed in the knowledge that you or your loved one will be happy and supported in your new home.

Before you move in, we will find out if there are any of your possessions that you wish us to place in your room before you arrive. Please bring your family photographs and most treasured possessions to help make your room your home.

Our care homes are dedicated to helping our residents maintain links in the local area and with their loved ones. We understand how important visits are to help your loved one settle in and we welcome regular visits from family and friends.

We also actively support residents living with us to enjoy visits away from their new home into the local area and to nearby places of interest.

Each of our homes is different and the manager of the care home you’re interested in will provide all the information you need around visiting.
