Special garden party held for the Queen's Jubilee

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we held a celebratory garden party for residents at our Bishopstoke Park development.

The event was hosted in the landscaped grounds of Bishopstoke Park, a 19th century Mount building which is now a vibrant retirement community. The celebration replicated a street party, in which all residents were able to come together to join the rest of the UK to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s 75th anniversary on the throne.

The Lollipops - a 1940s-inspired vocal trio - provided entertainment throughout the afternoon, performing classics such as Dancing in the Street, Hit the Road Jack and Twist and Shout. A delicious traditional banqueting platter was also served and included a wide range of popular British classics such as beef & horseradish Yorkshire puddings, sausage rolls and scotch eggs – it proved to be extremely popular with all the attendees.
