Anchor Hanover's apprenticeship scheme shortlisted for prestigious award
Anchor Hanover's apprenticeship scheme has been shortlisted as a finalist in the “Best Intermediate Apprenticeship” at the School Leavers Awards 2019.
The winners are decided following the feedback collated from surveys and feedback provided by the apprentices themselves at participating firms and training providers.
The Anchor Apprentice programme has uncovered a number of remarkable young Care workers since its introduction in 2015.
From the apprentice who is now a team leader to winners of the 'Best Newcomers' category at the Great British Care Awards, graduates from our scheme are hardworking but most of all care about making a difference.
In addition to working in our care homes, we also have a growing number of apprentices at our Bradford Support Hub in IT, HR, procurement and customer service roles.
Paula Borland, Anchor Hanover's Talent & Early Careers Manager, said: "I am absolutely delighted that Anchor Hanover have got this far.
"I believe that the success has been driven by the Apprentices themselves as we have some real advocates and shining stars working amongst us. This can only encourage more young people to consider a role from the vast range that are available within the care sector."
