If you or someone close to you is living with dementia, finding opportunities to connect with others can make a difference.
Wharfeside Care Home in Otley is hosting a free monthly Dementia Café, welcoming people living with dementia, their families, friends and carers.
Starting in November, the café will take place on the second Tuesday of every month from 2pm. Visitors can enjoy refreshments, take part in activities, meet others and access informal support in a friendly setting.
There will also be opportunities to learn about local dementia-friendly services and activities, helping people find out what support is available in the community. Wharfeside residents will join the sessions too, creating opportunities for everyone to spend time together.
Everyone is welcome.
