Anchor Hanover launches the height of later living with The Twynams
With an undersupply of specialist retirement housing and with a passion for improving housing options for today’s older people, England’s largest not-for-profit provider of housing and care for people in later life, Anchor Hanover has launched ‘The Twynams’. The exclusive initial launch of seven luxurious two-bedroom apartments is a welcome and much needed addition to its existing Bishopstoke Park community, in the heart of Hampshire.
The newest collection of homes situated across five buildings include ‘The Goldcrest’ rooftop apartments with picturesque views over the woodlands. Each of the five apartments come with their own sun terrace and private balcony positioned amongst the treetop canopy and have been designed to complement and enhance those looking to enjoy their later years to the full.
The Goldcrest apartments will be some of the largest retirement apartments currently available in South East England and will offer an additional slice of luxury with lofty cathedral style ceilings.
With a two-bedroom show home now available to view, interested home movers are invited to make their one-to-one, private appointment to experience how life could be at this later-living community.
Phillip Hulme, Sales Director at Anchor Hanover comments:
Our recently launched homes at The Twynams offer a next level to later living for those looking to enjoy the finer things in life. The rooftop apartments each have their own unique layout offering a sense of character to suit different tastes and styles whilst the other two-bedroom homes are also spacious and finished to a high premium standard, designed with a comfortable lifestyle and wellbeing in mind. We are passionate about creating homes that people are proud to call their home and our existing, thriving community of the wider Bishopstoke Park village is testament to our ethos. Set within an idyllic woodland setting, residents are surrounded by nature, yet the all-important daily essentials are still on your doorstep – it really is the best of both worlds. Residents can also enjoy a ready-made social network for fostering new friendships as well as benefiting from an on-site wellness spa, a restaurant, delicatessen and general store. We look forward to welcoming new residents to this established community to live a life of comfort and indulgence with the launch of our new homes at The Twynams.
Sandra Sudlow is an existing resident of Bishopstoke Park, who said:
Living at Bishopstoke Park has given me a whole new lease of life and living in a Retirement Village gives me reassurance that I have the option of opting for short-term extra care provided by Anchor Hanover, if needed in the future. There are plenty of activities and classes to join from balance and Pilates to yoga and dance classes with residents also creating other interest groups including snooker, bridge and a gardening club. Pre-Covid, Anchor Hanover also arranged regular trips to garden centres, theatres and other local attractions so along with seeing my son and grandchildren a lot more now being on my doorstep, I don’t seem to have a minute to spare!
Each of the new two-bedroom homes at The Twynams offer contemporary interiors that have been carefully designed by the builder to create light and airy spaces to maximise sunlight and bring the stunning nature inside the homes. The open-plan space provides multifunctional living ideal for relaxing, dining or entertaining alike.
Kitchens are ergonomically designed and are fully integrated with state-of-the-art appliances. Living areas include underfloor heating and ample storage throughout to provide a seamless living experience. Spacious bedrooms are designed as places to retreat and enhance wellbeing with large windows offering views of the park-like surroundings, helping the space feel like an extension of outside.
New residents of The Twynams will benefit from the wider Bishopstoke Park community which offers plenty of outdoor space including allotments and sensory gardens; a state-of-the-art wellness centre with swimming pool, gym and beauty salon; and a restaurant providing a selection of seasonal fresh food using local produce. The Twynams will also benefit from a guest suite for visiting friends and family to stay.
The new collection of homes start from £600,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and £950,000 for a rooftop Goldcrest apartment. Further weekly charges and exit fees are applicable.
