Teal Beck House resident celebrates 100th birthday

Raymond Coverley, a resident at Anchor’s Teal Beck House care home in Otley, West Yorkshire, celebrated turning 100 on 19 February. 

Mr Coverley blew out the candles on a special birthday cake at a party organised by relatives, staff and the friends he’s made during his time living at Teal Beck Care Home.

The Manager at Teal Beck Care Home, Louise Bulcock said: “Mr Coverley is a lovely person. He always enjoyed a drink and a cigarette in the past, but this has been replaced by his love of tea and cake.  We will be enjoying the celebration all together on this special day and of course we’ll be having an extra special birthday cake."
