August’s Resident Involvement Updates
We encourage residents to help shape and improve our services through the resident involvement groups. Below are some of the recent actions and improvements driven by these groups.
Involved residents are integral to Anchor. Their feedback and suggestions help shape and improve the services we provide, ensuring that residents are represented.
In the last 12 months, involved residents have spent a total of 700 hours working with Anchor to improve our services. This includes 244 hours that decision makers, such as the CEO and Directors, spent collaborating with residents in meetings.
Involved residents were also consulted for upcoming projects. This included the internal policy review project and business as usual performance, such as internal audits on subjects like arrears management and damp, mould and condensation (DMC).
Recently, involved residents told us that they wanted a finance group to help represent residents and help us deliver value for money. In response to the feedback, we established the Residents’ Finance Group, which recently held their first meeting.
If you want to learn more about being an involved resident, we run an online drop-in session every two weeks. The next sessions are Wednesday 6 and 20 August at 11am.
