Governance

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and have elected to adopt the FRC’s UK Corporate Governance Code. The Board is comprised by a majority of independent non-executive Directors and led by our non-executive Chair, Christopher Kemball. The day to day running of the Company is delegated to our CEO and their Executive Committee.

In accordance with the UK Code the Board has a number of standing Committees formed by non-executive Directors, including the Audit & Risk Committee, Remuneration Committee and Nominations Committee. We also have a Service Quality Committee and Investment and Development Committee.

Through executive and non-executive succession planning, we have achieved and maintained our Board diversity target of having at least half of all Board and Executive Committee roles are filled by women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals of Black, Asian, Mixed or ethnicities other than White British and/or individuals who identify as having a physical or mental disability or impairment.
