My mum has been at Silver Court for just over a year and I can honestly say I am in awe of the manager and the team. The staff genuinely love my mum and although she is reluctant to leave her room, they always include her in everything, from crafts to Pat dog sessions, they will make sure to go to her in her room. This August I had my first holiday… for four years, I was able to go away safe in the knowledge that Mum was happy and she didn’t miss me at all! Events such as Christmas, the manager and the team always ensure the residents have fun and are all included. I have a lot of experience with care homes through my work and I know I am blessed that Mum is in their care. Mum always looks well cared for and the home doesn’t smell nasty like some do! At this point I would like to mention particular outstanding staff but I can’t as they are all amazing! In what has been the most difficult time of my life they have been there, not only for Mum but for me too, Thank you team Silver Court!

Mum has been a resident at Silver Court for just under a year and a half. Thanks to the understanding, kindness and dedication of the staff, Mum is always bright and happy and Silver Court has become her new home. Mum enjoys the varied activities at Silver Court. She loves the singing, dancing and musical moments, as well as the outings. Straight… away the staff homed in on Mum’s love of gardening and make sure she has plenty to do, such as planting etc, in the lovely surrounding gardens. There is a real family atmosphere within Silver Court, which you can appreciate as soon as you arrive and mum is always treated with the greatest respect and affection. In fact, she always says how lovely everyone is. The communication between the staff and families is excellent and they are always on hand to resolve any queries we may have and set our minds at ease. Knowing that Mum is happy and very well looked after is so important. A big thank you to everyone at Silver Court!

I have been very impressed with Silver Court Care home. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. My relative is very happy here, they regularly tell me how happy they are with Silver Court and how friendly the staff are and how much they care. The food seems to be great quality too.

Silver Court continues to be the most welcoming, kind and thoughtful extended family for my mum who has been a resident here for over a year now. The thing I love most about this care home is that Mum is not just a 'resident'. She is someone who matters to each of the carers, and whenever Mum and I see any of the Silver Court team out and about i… n East Grinstead, they stop and chat with my mum, as a friend and someone they truly care about. Everyone works so very hard, and nothing is too much trouble. Mum regularly goes out on day trips and they are always organising singers, garden parties, musicians and other exciting events to entertain the residents. I can say with complete confidence and sincerity, that every carer has a mindset of kindness, thoughtfulness and patience. I want to thank the team for everything you each do, every day, and I wholeheartedly recommend Silver Court to anyone considering it for their loved ones.

My Mother has been at Silver Court now for nearly 2 years and I am extremely happy with the care and attention she gets. I could not ask for a better place for Mum to be. Unfortunately, I no longer live in the UK so don't often get a chance to visit but the times I have I can really sense how wonderful all the carers and staff are. Mum is extremely… happy there. I do call regularly and they are always very accommodating at organising a video call so I can stay connected with Mum. Highly recommend.

Silver Court Care Home has been fantastic at providing care for my relative. All staff have been professional, fully invested in their roles and take time to talk and really get to know their residents. The home really does feel like a 'home from home’ with residents able to be themselves and my relative is extremely happy here.

My aunt has been with Silvercourt for almost four years now. Due to her medical condition, the transfer was challenging, and the Silver Court team supported this very professionally, helping my aunt and the family through the transfer. Since then, the standard of care has been excellent. The level of care for the residents is visible every time I … or my relative visit. The communication is open, clear and timely. The standard of cleanliness is very high. One measure is how often other relatives say how happy they are. In four years, I have not heard any relative complain about anything. I am sure there are day-to-day challenges, but the way the team handles them and strives for the highest standards is outstanding.

We serve tasty, wholesome, good food and our menus change regularly with a daily choice available. We also cater for residents with special dietary needs and create a “dining atmosphere” by decorating these areas in colours that stimulate the appetite and create ambiance.

Residents preferred activities, interests and ability are discussed when they move in and an agreed plan ensures that these requests are fulfilled (wherever possible). Our residents’ suggestions for activities also help shape the planning process.
