My sister had a lovely, but short, stay at Saville Park. Her carers have been exceptionally kind and considerate.

While I appreciate the need for a necessary amount of paperwork needs to be carried out (client-daily records), I feel the balance is too biased towards clerical demands when clients are left unattended, and their needs are not being met because of this. Care, when given, is to a good standard, but there is not enough of it.

My mother moved into Savile Park care home in August 2020. This was during the Covid pandemic, and I was unable to look around the home prior to her move due to lockdown restrictions. She remained at Savile Park until her death in May 2023. I was always struck by the friendliness of all the staff and their care and support for my mother, who had de… mentia. End-of-life care was exemplary. Many thanks to all staff at Savile Park!

The staff in the care home treated my mam on an individual level as they did with everyone who they supported through the last years of their lives. A credit to everyone involved at the home.

It was a relief to find somewhere for respite care for Mum following a stay in the hospital. Although now back in her own home, we would have no hesitation in returning to Savile Park if and when being at home became impossible. Mum was safe, cared for and was able t miss with others. I appreciated not having to worry about her for a few months, kn… owing she was in a good care home.

Sadly my father did not have very long in the home but he was very well looked after. The home is very nicely arranged with privacy if required but plenty of communal areas. The food was excellent and all the staff were very welcoming and caring. I felt very confident that my father was being well looked after which gave me great comfort.

My mother was among many who had to find a forever home following the callous tactics of her previous care home. Every senior member of staff went above and beyond to facilitate my mother's relocation. She has been here for about a year now. I can truthfully say it was the best thing that could ever have happened. Every member of staff is caring,… approachable and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Mum looks so much more like her old self. She is immaculately turned out, appropriately dressed for the temperature, and clean and tidy. The staff are kindness itself. The building is immaculate, with no tired, dirty furniture or carpets, but modern, cosy, clean, and spacious. Lovely wide corridors and quiet rooms. Even the bathrooms are immaculate and warm no matter when we visit. The food is very nice, and drinks are always available. My mum now has quite advanced dementia and poor mobility. I am kept updated, and she is relaxed and seems happy, as are my cousin and I when visiting. Excellent all-round!
