Local school donates Christmas hamper to Orchard Gardens care home

Orchard Gardens care home residents were recently treated to a very special festive hamper, courtesy of Crestwood Community School, with goods further donated by local Tesco stores. 

The hampers contained huge amounts of Christmas confectionary and was hand-delivered to the care home by dedicated staff. 

Home Manager, Tracy Hibberd said: 

A massive thank you to Crestwood Community School and to the local Tesco branches for thinking of our residents at a time like this. It was a fantastic moment seeing the hampers delivered - the residents were thrilled! We’ve got several Christmas events planned for the coming days and this was the perfect way to get things started! 

Resident Marian Baker said:

Such a delightful gift to receive – and it’s not even Christmas yet! I particularly enjoyed the Christmas biscuits! I know all the residents here really appreciate feeling part of the community so we really do extend our thanks.’
