Discover local history, hear fascinating stories and enjoy a taste of the past at Marham House this October.
Marham House is inviting the local community to join its Ancestry Day on 22 October, bringing together local history, personal stories and a few nostalgic treats.
The afternoon will feature a talk from local historian Terry O'Donoghue, exploring Dissent, Riot and Rebellion, and some of the events that have shaped our local history.
There will also be an opportunity to hear stories from people who live at Marham House, sharing their own life histories and memories. From childhood and working life to family, places and events that have shaped their lives, these personal stories offer another way to connect with the past.
Guests can enjoy a vintage lunch, take part in quizzes and spend time chatting with others throughout the afternoon.
Whether you're interested in local history, genealogy or simply enjoy hearing stories from different generations, Ancestry Day will be a chance to step back in time and discover something new.
