Refer a Friend…or two, or three!

Our Refer a Friend scheme enables existing colleagues of Anchor Hanover to share job vacancies with their friends, family members or neighbours and gain a cash reward of up to £250*!

We recently caught up with Vanessa Fry, Scheme Manager at Anchor Hanover, who has successfully referred not one, but THREE of her family friends.

Having worked for Anchor Hanover for over five-and-a-half years I knew what a good company they are to work for.

My first two referrals were my sister-in-law and my niece (a powerful mum and daughter duo). They had moved nearer to me and have worked in care for many years. They always give 110% in their jobs and had been working for another care home in Wellingborough but they were not happy with how their residents were treated. I advised them to apply to Bilton Court. I explained that they would get excellent training and service conditions are brilliant. They both applied and have been working at Bilton Court for around 18 months. They love it.

My third referral is my daughter’s partner, Rachel. She was looking for regular work having had to close her dog walking business due to the Pandemic. I advised her to apply for a Scheme Manager role at my Scheme in Kettering. She was interviewed by two Area Managers and she got the job! She started here at the start of August and loves it so far.

*How Refer a Friend Works

Send your friend a link to one of our job vacancies listed on The Bridge.
Your friend applies for the job and puts your name down as the referrer
If your friend is offered the job, you get £100 when they start. Paid on your next payslip.
You get another £150 when your friend has been with us three months. Again, paid automatically on your payslip.

You don’t have to refer someone to the same team or location as you, they can work anywhere in the business and there’s no limits on how many people you can refer either! If you know someone who would be a great asset to Anchor Hanover, refer them as a friend today and earn up to £250.
