Jane Ashcroft wins power 50 grand prix award
Anchor Chief Executive Jane Ashcroft CBE has won the prestigious Grand Prix award at the HealthInvestor ‘Power 50’ ceremony.
The winner was selected by a combination of the Power 50 shortlist of the healthcare industry’s most influential leaders and readers’ votes.
At the ceremony the organisers said Jane has been described as a market-shaper and a strong spokesperson for care, who conveys respect and gravitas while still being approachable and charming.
The judges went on to say “under Jane’s inspiring leadership, the not-for-profit provider of care homes and retirement housing has enjoyed fantastic growth and financial results, and never at the expense of service quality.”
“Jane’s focus and ethics has unsurprisingly led Anchor to be branded by those in the know as at the “forefront of inclusive care and accommodation.”.
In receiving the award Jane commented: “It goes without saying that I am very flattered to have been awarded this tremendous prize. Clearly as CEO, I rely on a brilliant team around me, including those working in care homes and retirement properties day in, day out. I therefore accept this award on their behalf. Thank you.”
