Anchor Celebrates Win at Insider’s Yorkshire Property Industry Awards 2021
We celebrated winning Best Use of Tech in Property at Insider’s Yorkshire Property Industry Awards 2021. Receiving the accolade, alongside health and wellbeing specialist hero, for the development of the Wellbeing 360 programme.
The programme, piloted at three Anchor locations, will officially launch at The Chapters, a new collection of 80 one and two bedroom apartments located in Shinfield. Following an initial health assessment, residents will receive a personalised and realistic action plan designed to suit their individual needs and abilities.
Pam and William Stone (aged 90 and 91) were the first residents at Keble Court in Fleet to pilot the Wellbeing 360 programme and they cannot praise it enough and the benefits it has brought to their daily lives. By following their bespoke programmes, they now have ‘bio-ages’ – based on Smart Health assessments – of 82 and 83.
Pam Stone explains:
Alongside physical exercises, we’ve been taught about the science of wellbeing and how being active affects our diet and mental health. I highly recommend the Wellbeing 360 programme, it’s a wonderful initiative to support older people to keep active and healthy for as long as they can.
Insider’s Yorkshire Property Industry Awards was held on Thursday 30 September at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. The awards recognise businesses and individuals shaping Yorkshire’s built environment and those who have helped the region become a hotspot for investment.
Brett Jenkins, Wellbeing Development Manager at Anchor, said:
We’re thrilled to have won Best Use of Tech in Property in partnership with the hero wellbeing team at Insider’s Yorkshire Property Industry Awards. Hero’s tech and specialised services helped us to create a dynamic and inclusive wellbeing product.
The programme is a great example of the initiatives we have across the organisation to boost residents’ physical and mental wellbeing and meet the needs of people living in later life.
