Wellington Court hold 50th anniversary party

Wellington Court retirement housing scheme in Nottingham have held a special party to mark Anchor’s 50th Anniversary year.

The celebration featured a specially made cake, array of decorations and plenty of tasty refreshments.

Julie Thornley, Scheme Manager said: “We have all had such a great day celebrating 50 years of Anchor together. 

“We are really pleased to have raised £100 for charity Contact the Elderly and the great work they do. 

“I’d also like to thank everyone who came along to spend the day with us, residents, friends and family all helped set this special occasion up and their support helped to make it a huge success!”
