We’re delighted to have recently signed up to a third joint venture with Hill, the award-winning housebuilder of well-designed new homes across London and the South East.
Situated in Newington Green, Newington Gate is planned to be a multi-generational development. 28 of the 72 homes planned will be made available to over 55s as affordable rentals, while 12 will be offered as shared ownership. The other 32 properties will be aimed at first-time buyers. Newington Gate will also include 5,900 sq ft of retail space. Work on the site is already underway, with the development expected to be completed by summer 2020.
Paul Jordan, Regional Director at Hill, said: 'While multi-generational living is growing in popularity across London, developers have a responsibility to encourage this where possible by providing suitable housing.'
The other two joint ventures between Hanover and Hill are Woodside Square, Muswell Hill and Quadra in London Fields.
Multi-generational living has numerous benefits for both younger and older residents.
